PWY 2012 Kick off

February 1, 2012!!



With Disco as the theme, we had a fantastic Kick Off Rally where the campaigners came together to celebrate the beginning of an exciting campaign. Guest speaker, Sarita Maybin set the tone for the evening and inspiration was gained by all through two testimonials from past recipients of campaign benefits.



At the end of the evening it was proudly unveiled the Rancho Family YMCA is already at 42% of the overall campaign goal! Way to go Team!

Partner With Youth enables our YMCA to impact the community through youth development, a focus on healthy living and with a sense of social responsibility. The impact is evident in many personal stories.

"I am writing to let you know that my autistic son had enrolled in Adventure Camp this summer and had a wonderful aide for him. My son had a great time and as a mother of a special needs child, I'm so relieved that he is well taken care of.

The aide was great at communicating his progress and I could tell that they built a great rapport together. She even taught him songs that he loves to sing. When he had behavioral issues, she worked through it and it was a positive experience for him to experience a great summer at the YMCA. You've done a great job in creating an inclusive environment that is fun and caring for all children.
