2013 Goal

To raise $250,000 in order to allow us to focus on the following areas:

• Direct Financial Aid for memberships including adults, families and youth. Support to military families by waiving joiner fees and free youth memberships for all children eligible for program financial assistance.

• It is important that all children, regardless of ability are able to enjoy programs at the YMCA. We believe inclusion is important and all people should be able to participate in some capacity in Y programs. To accommodate some children requires that an inclusion aid be present to ensure the child’s success. The Y provides aids at no cost to families with children with special needs.

• Children should have an opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and experiences to help develop them to become successful, contributing members of their community. The Y works hard to provide opportunities for children and teens that show the value of volunteering, demonstrate the importance of civic engagement, and of course are fun. We continue to be able to offer great programs to all children regardless of their families ability to pay because of the generosity of so many.
