GIVE TO YOUR YMCA
The Rancho Family YMCA is dedicated to improving the
quality of human life and to helping ALL people realize
their fullest potential.
Partner With Youth
To raise $250,000 in order to allow us to focus on the following areas:
- Direct Financial Aid for memberships including adults, families and youth. Support to military families by waiving joiner fees and free youth memberships for all children eligible for program financial assistance.
- It is important that all children, regardless of ability are able to enjoy programs at the YMCA. We believe inclusion is important and all people should be able to participate in some capacity in Y programs. To accommodate some children requires that an inclusion aid be present to ensure the child’s success. The Y provides aids at no cost to families with children with special needs.
- Children should have an opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and experiences to help develop them to become successful, contributing members of their community. The Y works hard to provide opportunities for children and teens that show the value of volunteering, demonstrate the importance of civic engagement, and of course are fun. We continue to be able to offer great programs to all children regardless of their families ability to pay because of the generosity of so many.
Thank you to Jersey Mike's on Black Mountain Road for helping Rancho Family YMCA earn $651 toward our Partner With Youth 2013 campaign.
TestimonialPartner With Youth enables our YMCA to impact the community through youth development, a focus on healthy living and with a sense of social responsibility. The impact is evident in many personal stories.
"I am writing to let you know that my autistic son had enrolled in Adventure Camp this summer and had a wonderful aide for him. My son had a great time and as a mother of a special needs child, I'm so relieved that he is well taken care of.
The aide was great at communicating his progress and I could tell that they built a great rapport together. She even taught him songs that he loves to sing. When he had behavioral issues, she worked through it and it was a positive experience for him to experience a great summer at the YMCA. You've done a great job in creating an inclusive environment that is fun and caring for all children.
Thanks so much!"
