- Regular Youth & Government Delegation Meetings begin: Tuesday, September 6th from 7:00-8:30pm
Help your child prepare for their future! The Rancho Family YMCA's Youth & Government program is a renown California program that creates an opportunity for teens to learn public speaking skills, time management skills, what community responsibility is, and meet new friends over the course of the school year. This program has weekly meetings and two weekend trainings to prepare everyone for the week long trip to Sacramento where they take over the Capital with delegates from all over the state for fun, socialization , and knowledge about issues facing California and the United States.

6th-9th GradeTwo time Olympian Marilyn King discovered that most extraordinary things are done by ordinary people who have three things in common. These traits are not special gifts or talents, but innate abilities that can be identified and developed in everyone.
In this leadership development program boys and girls in 6th-9th grade will expand their world of exciting possibilities, identify the skills and steps needed through The Gold StandardTM and SuccessmappingTM activities, take strategic action toward making their dream come true.
