Rancho Riptides Swim Team

Welcome!

Designed for the advanced swimmer 6-17 years old looking for the experience and development of a team atmosphere. Fish level is required prior to joining as well as completing the readiness assessment. Currently swimmers are arranged by ability per lane.



All new participants or participants that have not been on the team for more than one month are required to try out for the team. You will need to fill out a waiver if you are new to the YMCA, so please arrive early to ensure you have time to complete the required paperwork. Please contact the Front Desk to find out the next day/time for a swim team assessment.



Our Team Goals & Philosophy

Rancho Riptides are about hard work, effort, and building self-confidence and a strong team. We hope to encourage swimmers to try their best and to try and exceed their own goals as well as team goals. Our goal as coaches is to provide a fun and safe environment where children can enjoy swimming and reap the rewards from their own efforts.
