Volunteer in Maintenance

Volunteer Positions

Maintenance Assistant

Assist Maintenance Director through additional labor to paint, clean or improve facility. Working on ladders or using cleaning chemicals may be involved.

Equipment Teardown

At Canyonside Recreation Center. This is a physically demanding position (but great exercise). Assist with taking down and storing mats and equipment. Requires lifting and carrying of heavy mats.

Waterslide Operator

Assist aquatic staff with safe operation of the water slide on an hourly basis. Slide operator will inspect the slide prior to opening and safely monitor participants as they ride the slide.
Qualifications: Completion of water slide operator test, inspector test, First Aid & CPR certifications.
